Our Story

Talo Coffee is a boutique specialty coffee roaster located in Mermaid Beach, QLD. Our core value is fostering connections between the coffee world, our coffees and our projects. We are committed to sourcing only the highest quality, ethically and sustainably-produced coffees.

One of our founding partners has spent years developing relationships with farmers in the Southern Huila regions of Colombia. For this reason, we source all our Colombian coffee directly. Additionally, we source high-quality micro-lots from a variety of importers. We work closely with many growing communities in Colombia in order to understand their needs, which enables us to provide a supportive environment and implement innovative projects aiming at enhancing the coffee quality and higher prices for the coffee these incredible regions produce.

With our extensive experience in coffee roasting and cafe management, we guarantee to roast our coffees with meticulous attention and share them with respect and affection.
